The Pediatric Pulmonary Division is devoted to and actively involved in patient care and teaching related to normal and abnormal function of the developing respiratory systems in infants and children. Our Pediatric Pulmonologist Dr. B. K. Hukkeri is Fellow Of College Of Chest Physcians, India & has vast experience in Pulmonology. He also is a National Trainer for Asthma Program. Pulmonary Function Testing is routinely done at BCH. Diagnosis, Counseling & Management of Asthma & other Allergenic disorders are taken care of. Serious respiratory Infections & Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation are dealt with the help of Dr Hukkeri & his team of expert doctors & skilled Nurses Neonatologist Dr. Arun S. Desai deals with the Lung maturity, Surfactant Therapy & Lung Injury & Newborn Mechanical Ventilation & CPAP in Newborn.
